Rajamouli Opens Up About Varanasi’s Unique Story

Rajamouli has shared an interesting update about his upcoming film Varanasi and the challenge of bringing different elements together.

He said the film combines the scale and content of six or seven films into one story. Though Varanasi may look like a science fiction film, Rajamouli clarified that it is actually a fantasy film with mythological elements.

The story explores a father-son bond and a beautiful love story between a young man and woman.

Bringing these different emotions and genres together has been the biggest challenge, he revealed. The shoot is also nearing completion, with only around 10 days of work remaining.

The team is expected to focus on post-production from November and begin promotional activities soon.
