Varun Dhawan, star of Bawaal, revealed details about the upcoming VD 18 alongside director Atlee.

The film, which was directed by Nitesh Tiwari, tells the enthralling love tale of Varun as Ajay Dixit and Janhvi Kapoor as Nisha. Bawaal managed to win over the audience’s adulation while facing criticism for the Auschwitz sequence. A busy actor like Varun takes some time off to get down for an interview with the director of Bawaal and Janhvi. The actor revealed details about the upcoming VD 18 during the interview, for which he has linked up with Jawan director Atlee and movie producer Murad Khetani.

“All I can say is it’s a mass-action entertainer,” he continued. The movie has a lot of entertainment, which I really enjoy. And I’ll just put my all into it.
For an action comedy, Varun Dhawan has teamed up with Atlee and director Murad Khetani. The Bawaal actor announced the release date of the untitled movie in a story on July 2 of this year. On May 31, 2024, the future VD 18 is scheduled for release.
While the tale is filled with emotion and drama, action is the main focus, and the team is working to produce stylish, larger-than-life sequences for Varun, according to a person familiar with the project. The movie will be filmed over the course of four to five months since its producers want it to be the big summer 2024 release in theatres all across the world.
Atlee and Murad Khetani will produce VD 18, but other information regarding the movie is still a secret. Speaking about Atlee, the Shah Rukh Khan-starring Jawan will be his first Hindi-language film to direct. On September 7, the movie will premiere in theatres.
