Uppena remake in Tamil to be produced by Vijay Sethupathi?

Vijay Sethupathi has become one of the most sought after actors in Tamil Cinema and he is growing his reputation as an actor in other languages too. Telugu filmmakers seem to like him as a villain. Uppena director Hari Babu took him as a villain and even Sukumar is in talks for a character in Pushpa with the actor.Now, we hear that Vijay Sethupathi is instrumental in Uppena going to the notice of Thalapathy Vijay. We have been hearing rumours about Vijay looking to introduce his son, Jason who is in New York, doing a film course, with the remake of the Telugu film.

Our sources have revealed that Vijay Sethupathi talked to the actor about the film during their Master Shoot. He is instrumental in getting the ball rolling it seems. After hearing to the story, Vijay felt the script is perfect for his son’s launch, it seems. Vijay Sethupathi also wants to produce the film it seems. We have to wait for official confirmation on that but the actor is keen to take this film in Tamil and that too with Vijay’s soon as the main lead, it seems.
