Tollywood’s Top Producer Set to Team Up with Vijay

Vijay, currently engaged in the Venkat Prabhu project titled “GOAT,” has unveiled the film’s first look and several posters featuring him in both a youthful and mature appearance. While his next project remains officially unannounced, there’s speculation in Kollywood that Vijay might collaborate with Tollywood producer DVV Danayya, renowned for his role in producing “RRR.”

Reportedly, Danayya has offered Vijay a remarkable remuneration for this potential venture. This is Vijay’s second collaboration with a major Telugu producer, following his 2023 project Vaarasudu with Dil Raju, for which he also received a record-breaking remuneration of almost 90 crores.

However, the crucial surprise is that Karthik Subbaraj, the mastermind behind the previous blockbuster “Jigarthanda 2,” is expected to direct this upcoming Tamil project. The trend of Telugu top producers expanding into the Tamil film industry seems to be gaining momentum, as exemplified by Dil Raju’s previous project with Vijay and another big production house Mythri Movie Makers’ plans to collaborate with Ajith.

Now, RRR fame tollywood top producer DVV Danayya of DVV Entertainments appears to be following suit, attempting to enter the Tamil market. This approach shows the growing coordination between the Tamil and Telugu cinema industries, which supports cross-industry collaboration.
