Thalapathy Vijay contributes to Telugu states too

Thalapathy Vijay is bidding for market in each South Indian language from the start of this decade. Thuppakki gave him an opening in Telugu states, where his looks and acting style used to be ridiculed. But he did find some market here. Mersal, Bigil collected good amounts in B and C centres proving that he is connecting with audiences in Telugu states too. The actor did acknowledge that when he decided to contribute to Corona relief funds.

He totally announced a contribution of Rs. 1.30 crores to various state governments, central government and Fefsi. He announced 25 lakhs for PM Cares Fund and FEFSI, each. For Tamil Nadu Government CM relief fund, he announced Rs. 50 lakhs. He then announced 5 lakhs each to Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry governments as well. He announced Rs. 10 lakhs to Kerala State Government. He seems to have divided his contribution in accordance to the market he has in different states. Anyways, he did the right thing by contributing from his side to various welfare charity funds in India, before people start making it political agenda against him.
