Ramani Ammal, a well-known Tamil folk singer, passed away on Tuesday in Chennai from a severe heart attack. Ammal (69) gained notoriety as Rockstar Ramani Ammal thanks to her explosive stage acts.
In 2017, she rose to fame in the Tamil entertainment sector thanks to the reality series “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors” on Zee TV.
Despite the fact that Ramani Ammal made her acting debut in the 2004 romantic film “Kadhal,” followed by a few other films like “Kathayavaran,” “Thenavattu,” and “Haridas,” she didn’t have many chances and continued to work as a housemaid.
Ramani Ammal, however, did not turn back after her incredible success on the reality TV programme Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors in 2017.
For the films Junga (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Kaaapan (2019), and “Nenjamundu Nermayundu Odu Raja,” she sang the tracks. (2019). Additionally, she appeared on theatrical productions in Sri Lanka, Singapore, and the US.
