Swathi back in a Telugu Cinema after break!

Swathi Reddy who became popular with her smile and anchoring on Colors, Tv phone in program across the Telugu households, became an actress and successful heroine over the course of time. She starred in films like Subramanya Puram, Swamy Ra Ra, Karthikeya and many more. Got herself the tag of a good actress with films in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

Even though she had been acting in films since Asta Chemma, way back in 2008, she hadn’t got the big chances like other actresses and had to be happy with being part of medium budget movies. She was never looked at as the actress with lot of charisma and that did not help her in creating opportunities for her in big hero films. Still she had been busy with Tamil films the most and after Tripura, she hadn’t signed any Telugu Film except for two Tamil films.

As her films are getting ready for release, she has been approached by a Telugu producer to act in Vijay Sethupathi starrer Aandavan Kattalai remake in Telugu. The film is a court room drama about passport fraud in our country. Ritika Singh played the journalist who is convinced to act as a wife for the protagonist. For the same, Swathi has been confirmed and the actor for the protagonist is yet to be announced. Chinni Krishna, Veedu Theda fame will be helming the direction duties and Dhanraj will be seen in a special role.
