Sunil and his fans are worried about the actor’s career prospects as he is unable to deliver a good hit at the box office. The actor has been trying to overturn that but none of his films are giving him that confidence. Now he is coming with a cool family comedy entertainer, Ungarala Rambabu with Kranthi Madhav as the director of the movie. The movie has been long in the production and it has finally been able to manage a release. The trailers of the movie did not generate the required buzz and as the major releases like Jai Lava Kusa and Spyder are around the corner, garnering enough buzz to make the movie a good hit is also been tough for the makers.
They are hoping to get some good Word of Mouth over the first weekend to propel their chances. As of now, the movie is releasing for 15th September and we cannot tell much about the story or characters. While this movie is in production, Sunil’s other film with N. Shankar has come to the final stages and the movie could release by the end of this year. So, now the actor has decided to try out a new genre for his next movie.
He is looking to remake the Tamil noir comedy thriller, Sethuranga Vettai and right now, the script works are going on as per the sources. Sivalenka Vara Prasad will be producing the movie with Ramesh Pillai in Telugu. It has been in the plans to be remade in Telugu for the past two years but until Sunil said, yes the movie has been hanging in the balance. Gopi Ganesh who made Romeo long time ago, will be making a comeback with this movie as the director. Other cast and crew details will be announced soon!
