Samantha made her debut as a producer with Subham, a horror-comedy directed by Cinema Bandi fame Praveen Kandregula. The teaser, trailer, and promotional content created good buzz among audiences. The makers arranged special premiere shows two days before the release, which were packed and received a positive response.
The film was released in theatres on May 9th and featured Gavireddy Srinivasa Rao in a key role. Riding on good word-of-mouth, Subham managed to have a decent first weekend at the box office. The response so far is encouraging for Samantha’s first production venture.
