Hero Srikanth has been alleged that he misused the funds that should come into the accounts of Movie Artists Association. The actor is now in the post of executive vice president of MAA, while his friend, Shivaji Raja is the President. They said to have given all the audit information regarding the allegations and funds that have been gained and expenditure ledger to prove themselves clean in General body meeting. They met the press to explain their side and even threw open challenges to opponents to prove their guilt.
“I am ready with all the audit reports. From Rs. 2 crores, we increased funds to Rs. 5. 65 crores and we want to make it Rs. 10 crores, hence we are planning events with Mahesh, Prabhas, and Nagarjuna in coming months with such a goal. As we wanted Rs. 1 crore, we did not really know how much the entire potential of the event is. Even Chiranjeevi garu did not question us why so less and he happily agreed.
If someone who is alleging can prove me guilty of misusing funds, I will tonsure my head and will touch everyone’s feet. Will also write all my properties to MAA and quit. This is my open challenge,” said MAA President Shivaji Raja
Srikanth said, “We wanted to do an event to raise funds for MAA to construct own building. We went with a goal of collecting Rs. 1 crore and when we got it, we left the remaining amount to organizers as we can’t demand more than what we accepted in the beginning and in the contract. If someone proves that I am guilty of taking any money or misusing them, I will resign to my post and membership too.” Well, the fight seems to be growing in volume right now.
