Ananya Nagalla: From Telugu Roots To Bollywood Heights

Earlier, Telugu actresses had limited chances in the Telugu film industry, as filmmakers mostly preferred heroines from Mumbai.

But that mindset is changing. Ananya Nagalla is one of the few Telugu girls who proved that talent and dedication can take you far.

A software engineer by qualification, Ananya followed her passion for acting, starting with short films like Shaadi. She gained recognition with Mallesham, which became a hit and led to a role in Vakeel Saab.

She continued to impress in films like Play-Back, Tantaram, Pottel, and the web series Bahishkarana, showcasing her versatility.

Now, Ananya is all set for her Bollywood debut. She’s playing the lead in a women-centric film produced by Himmat Ladumor under the Ektaa Film Entertainment banner, directed by Rakesh Jaggi.

She will be seen as a tribal girl and the film is reportedly titled Kaanta. It’s a proud moment for Telugu cinema.
