Short film actress to debut with Vijay Devarakonda!

Short films have become the battle grounds for today’s talented lot. They make them at faster rate to showcase their talent and then try to ask for chances from various producers showing the popularity of their content. This exercise has become very fruitful to some budding makers and there are many like Sujeeth Sign, Phaneendra Narisetti, Chadini Chowdary, Raj Tharun, Tharun Bhaskar who are able to transfer their success in shorter format on web world to the big silver screen. Following their example another actress Priyanka Jawalkar is making a debut on the silver screen with Vijay Devarakonda.

The young actress was first cast in a short film by her now director, Rahul Sankrityan. She got recognition for her work but since she was not interested into taking up acting full time she decided to move on to USA and see where life takes her. After two years the returned back to India and decided to take up acting as her full time profession. She went full professional about it and went to an acting coach, Bhikshu and convinced him to train her acting and dancing as well. After she gained confidence about her skills, she sent her photos to Geeta Arts and got shortlisted to meet the director.

For her surprise, she met the director of her Short film and the happy accident let her to find a chance for debut on the silver screen. The actress is highly confident and excited about her new career opportunity. She is a Maharastrian brought up in Ananthpur. Priyanka is also a certified fashion designer who completed course in Fashion at NIFT, Hyderabad. So, she is given the opportunity to design her own clothes and actress is all praise for her co-star Vijay Devarakonda too. She said the actor helped her feel at home with the whole new setup and helped her gain confidence to perform better.
