Senior filmmaker to bankroll Nikhil’s Swamy Ra Ra’s sequel

Released in 2013, the Nikhil and Swathi-starrer crime comedy, Swamy Ra Ra, went on to become a solid hit at the box office. The film marked the directorial debut of Sudheer Varma and brought Nikhil’s career back to the limelight.

For the past few years, news has been in circulation that the director-actor duo will be join forces for a sequel to this thriller but there is no official update on it, to date. Meanwhile, the latest news coming in from our sources is that Swamy Ra Ra’s sequel is very much on the cards.

Reports also suggest that senior producer BVSN Prasad will be bankrolling the project under his SVCC banner. An official update on the movie is expected to be out soon after the Covid circumstances return to normalcy.
