Sardar 2 Is Set To Commence Filming On Elaborate Sets In Chennai

Karthi and director PS Mithran blockbuster movie Sardar will be followed by a sequel which was announced after the success of the first part. The sequel Sardar 2 is now preparing to begin filming.

The pooja ceremony recently took place and shooting will start on grand sets in Chennai from July 15th.

Expectations are high for Sardar 2 especially since the first movie was Karthi’s highest grossing film. The sequel will have a larger budget and is produced by S Lakshman Kumar under the Prince Pictures banner.

Sardar 2 focuses on a mission in Cambodia, as revealed in a previous video. Karthi will portray a raw agent in this film. Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose the music.
