Samantha Is Fully Focusing On Bollywood

Samantha has been on a break for a while due to health issues. She revealed that she has been dealing with Myositis and is currently recovering.

She finished shooting for Citadel with Varun Dhawan.

She has not announced any new Telugu or Tamil films. Bollywood media reports say that Samantha might be the lead actress in Shah Rukh Khan next film directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

Additionally she is in talks for Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK new project with Aditya Roy Kapur. Samantha previously worked with Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK in The Family Man: Season 2 and Citadel.

The new project titled Rakhtabeej is a web series, and pre production has started. Filming is expected to begin in August. Samantha will also start shooting for The Family Man: Season 3 soon.
