Ram Takes Budget-Friendly Route For His Next Film
After a few unsuccessful films, Ram decided to change his approach toward remuneration. Earlier he was charging around Rs 25 crore per movie but he adopted a profit-sharing model for Andhra King Taluka.
Now he is set to direct and produce his next film while keeping a close watch on the budget.
As Telugu producers are facing challenges due to high actor fees and rising production costs, Ram wants to make the film in a cost-effective manner.
SJ Suryah was considered for the antagonist’s role but his reported demand of Rs 8 crore led the team to explore other options.
For the heroine’s role, Srinidhi Shetty was approached first, followed by talks with Kayadu Lohar. If date issues arise, Samyuktha could be finalized. Ram’s brother Krishna Chaitanya will produce the film.
