Rajamouli reveals why he chose Alia for RRR

Rajamouli finally silenced everyone by making it clear that his film is a period drama. The film is a fictional story of two freedom fighters Alluri Seetaramaraju and Komaram Bheem from Telangana.

So now, it is all clear that the film is set against the British empire. Another startling fact is that star sensation Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan are playing key roles in the film.

Rajamouli also said that it is because of Alia the film turns upside down in the second half and no one better than her would be able to portray the role better than her.
