Raj Among Raj-Koti Duo is no More

Senior music director Raj (Raj-Koti fame) breathed his last on Sunday due to a heart attack at his residence in Kukatpally. Raj’s real name is Totakooru Somaraju.

He is survived by his wife and three daughters. Raj’s eldest daughter is a software engineer, while the second daughter, Prasad Babu, married her boyfriend. The third daughter is pursuing a career in singing.

Raj and Koti, the music duo, made a significant impact in cinema music, winning numerous accolades. Over two decades, their music touched the hearts of music lovers. The loss of his partner deeply saddened Koti. Several film celebrities expressed their grief on social media.
