Young Rebel Star Prabhas’s upcoming film, Radhe Shyam, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, which was supposed to have released for January 14th, has been officially postponed, due to the spreading of the omicron variant of the coronavirus pandemic. While the new release date of the film has not been announced yet, several rumors about the film’s release are doing the rounds.
It is now being said that the makers of Radhe Shyam are contemplating releasing the film on an OTT platform, on a pay per view basis, where the audience can pay for the film a certain price, if they want to watch it, which would be profitable for the makers, who would get a good enough revenue from it. However, sources close to the makers say that the chances of the film being released on an OTT platform as very less.
Given that Radhe Shyam has been made on a massive budget, on a pan-Indian scale, with huge VFX involved in the film, the makers are said to be interested in releasing the film only in theaters. It is now to be seen what will happen in the end.
