Yesterday, an audio call of director Puri Jagannadh came out and went viral all over. In the 2 minutes 35 seconds duration audio, Puri is seen breathing fire on Liger buyers and exhibitors who are planning to do a strike at Puri Jagannadh’s office.
Getting into details, for the past few days news is circulating on social media that a set of Liger exhibitors are planning to do a strike at Puri Jagannadh’s office in Hyderabad on October 27th. Responding to the same, Puri Jagannadh in the audio file pointed at the Telugu buyers and exhibitors who are threatening to sit on a huge strike at his office. Puri even used strong language terming Telugu buyers and exhibitors by heaping praises on Bollywood buyers who genuinely presented Liger box office figures without any misinterpretation.
Puri also said that just for the prestige issue, he already gave word to the buyers of Liger that he will return back a certain amount to them once after receiving the amount which should get from other parties and said to the theater owners who are planning to do a strike at his office to do whatever they want as he is not directly connected to them in Liger business. Concluding his voice call, Puri warned the exhibitors who are planning a strike and said that he will note their names and ignore them during Liger’s final settlement.
