There were reports that Puri Jagannadh approaching senior actors like Nagarjuna, but the latest buzz suggests he is now exploring options in Tamil cinema.

If reports are true Puri is in talks with Vijay Sethupathi for an exciting project. With his experience Vijay could provide the strong backing Puri needs allowing the director to focus entirely on filmmaking rather than worrying about marketability.

Vijay is known for experimenting with roles and supporting filmmakers going through rough phases. Given Puri’s ability to complete films quickly and Vijay’s flexible schedule, this collaboration seems possible.

Moreover, Vijay has both a family-friendly and action-hero image, giving Puri creative freedom to explore different angles.
