Producers from Telugu Film Industry met Telangana Cinematography Minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and asked him to discuss with AP Government as well, about their demands as they want TFI to revive and flourish post lockdown and controlling the Covid-19 pandemic. The producers have asked the Governments to consider Flexi-pricing for Big Films and Medium Budget films, enabling them to increase or decrease the rates, in accordance to the demand for the movie from public, over weekends.
Producers also asked for relaxation in long permission process to shoot at different locations in the States and asked the government to set-up a long delayed single window permission process, which will cut short the time taken by various departments to give them permissions. They have agreed to pay the amounts at a time. After that the producers also asked government to relax the guidelines that make police protection mandatory at private properties while shooting. They also asked permissions to shoot at historic locations and other public sights with minimal charges provided, the film units will give a written letter to follow the guidelines instructed by government at heritage sites.
They also asked for the 5th show to be mandatory and asked the government to come up with a rule that the 5th show at theatres will be reserved for low budget films at least for 12 weeks, every year.
