Pooja Hegde has been waiting for the right film to return to South cinema. Though she has been doing Hindi films regularly they haven’t made her a big star in Bollywood.
Now she is set to dance alongside Superstar Rajinikanth in his upcoming film Coolie, which is currently being filmed.
Earlier Rajinikanth’s song with Tamannaah in Jailer was a huge hit and the makers of Coolie are planning something similar.
Initially Coolie was supposed to release in the summer but due to Rajinikanth’s health issues, it got delayed. Now the team is planning to release it in August 2025 with an official announcement expected soon.
Lokesh Kanagaraj directed the film which revolves around gold smuggling. It features Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Soubin Shahir in key roles, while Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will make a special appearance. Sun Pictures produced the movie.
