Organic Mama Hybrid Alludu starring Sohel, Mirnalini Ravi, Meena, Sunil, Rajendra Prasad in lead artists under the direction of senior director SV Krishna Reddy has hit the screens today. Let’s see how it fares.

Story: Haasini( Mirnalini Ravi) the only daughter of 100 acer organic farmer Venkata Ramana ( Rajendra Prasad) crosses paths with a guy named Vijay( Sohel) at a hotel. Eventually, friendship blooms between them and turns into love in no time. For obvious reasons, Venkata Ramana rejects his daughter’s love and tries to keep her away from Vijay. On the other hand, Vijay, a movie director by profession will be working hard to deliver a successful film. How the entry of Haasini into his life changes the prospects of Vijay? What will the young lovebirds impress Venkata Ramana with their acts, forms the crucial crux.

Performances: The lead pair Sohel and Mirnalini Ravi are adorable together on screen. The chemistry between them is the major asset for the film. Acting-wise, Sohel is impressive in his role and gave a settled performance. On the other hand, Mirnalini is cute and acted decently.

Rajendra Prasad perfectly fitted in the role as a rich landlord. His getup and screen presence in a few key scenes is good. Meena is fine in her role as a homemaker. A couple of family scenes between Rajendra Prasad and Meena are showcased neatly.

Other artists such as Surya, Hema among others are okay in their respective roles. The comedy track between Ajay Ghosh and Praveen in the second half evoke decent fun. Noted actor like Sunil, Viva Harsha, actor Varun Sandesh are wasted completely.

Technicalities: Director SV Krishna Reddy himself composed soundtracks for the film. While a couple of duets between the lead pair are audible on screen, the background score is okay but has nothing new to put it here.

The photography work by C Ram Prasad is fine as he showcased the entire film on a colourful note. Editing work by Prawin Pudi is okay.

Production values for this commercial drama by Koneru Kalpana are alright.

Analysis: Following the same old trend, director SV Krishna Reddy came up with yet another beaten to death family drama by inserting love element as the key aspect. Despite having the ages old storyline, director would have worked on writing a better screenplay to make things appealing on screen.

If Krishna Reddy would have focused on writing a better scene order and presentation, the result would have been definitely much better. To summarize, Mama Organic Alludu Hybrid is a regular love drama coated with conflict issues among the family members. Lack of freshness in the narrative makes the film a disappointing watch.

Verdict: Subjective crisis!
