Samantha has responded to the ongoing rumours about her promoting Ye Maaya Chesave, which is being re-released on July 18th to mark its 15-year anniversary.
The romantic classic directed by Gautham Menon, starred Samantha and her former husband Naga Chaitanya. There was buzz that the duo might reunite for promotions as the film marked the beginning of their love leading to their marriage in 2017.
However Samantha clarified in a recent media interaction that she will not be participating in any promotional events.
She fondly recalled her first scene as Jessie and said she remembers every frame of the shoot calling it a memorable experience.
But when asked about promoting the film, she firmly said, “Absolutely not”, and added that she won’t appear with anyone for promotions, stating she cannot live to please audience expectations.
Samantha and Chaitanya parted ways in 2021, and he later married Sobhita Dhulipala.
