Jhanvi Kapoor’s debut film, Dhadak is releasing on 20th July. Ishaan Kathar, brother of Shahid Kapoor and son of Pankaj Kapoor, is also making his bollywood debut with this one. Recently, Jhanvi and whole nation, got a shock with the death of Sridevi. The angelic beauty left us all heavy hearted with her tragic and sudden demise.
Jhanvi talked about her mother and her debut film with media in Hyderabad. She said, “My Mom did not encourage my decision to join films as an actor at first. She did not want us to go through all that she did in her career, as an actor. She is a strong woman and taking her as an inspiration, I wanted to prove myself as well. She then encouraged as much as she can and took care of everything in my life till the date, she suddenly disappeared.”
She continued, “I can’t tell you how it pains me to talk about her. I still remember daily her drinking a glass of juice early in the morning. Until, I took up acting classes, I did not know how serious the job is. I have huge respect for what she did in her life with what all opportunities she got. If I can atleast become 10% of her, it will be a great tribute to her memory. No one can be like her and no one will be like her, ever!”
