Nani’s SSR creates new records online

Natural Star Nani’s recent release, Shyam Singha Roy, became a successful one for the actor, bringing in a lot of appreciation for his performance and the entire film as a whole. The film started to stream on Netflix last week and has become a bonafide success on Netflix as well.

SSR has been the most viewed film in India in the last week, and is on the list of the top 3 most viewed films globally, on Netflix, making it the only Indian film to make it to that list. SSR marked the first success and theatrical release for Nani in two years, as his last two films, V and Tuck Jagdish directly released on Amazon Prime, and turned out to be major disappointments for the actor.

On the other hand, Nani recently wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film Ante Sundaraniki and started shooting for his next film Dasara. Ante Sundaraniki marks the Telugu debut of Malayalam actress Nazriya Nazim, and the film is directed by Vivek Athreya.
