Mr. Majnu advance booking starts well

The buzz for an Akkineni Akhil movie cannot be expected to skyrocket or be as high as his previous films after their performance at the box office. But Mr. Majnu on the back of a fresh audio from Thaman, it is able to attract young audiences.

Tarak attending the pre-release event and also talking about Akhil’s mental strength, abilities boosted the buzz in last one week. The movie has become a trending topic.

Advance bookings in some areas started very late as distributors and exhibitors agreements took time to finalise. Also, F2 run at the box office forced some distributors to look at the box office situation and demand again.

As the movie F2 fell drastically, many theatres decided to take Mr.Majnu to replace it for Republic Day weekend. If the movie manages a positive feedback, Akhil could come up with better revenues than the trade is expecting.
