Manoj Bajpayee Shares Honest View On Big-Budget Films

Two upcoming Indian films, Varanasi and Ramayana are making headlines because of their reported huge budgets.

Varanasi stars Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra and reports claim it is being made with a budget of around Rs. 1,200 crore.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana is said to have a combined budget of nearly Rs. 4,000 crore for its two parts. These figures have sparked debates with many questioning whether the numbers are accurate.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee has now shared his good views saying that such budget claims are often part of promotional campaigns for sure.

According to him announcing inflated budgets to generate buzz is a common practice in the film industry and has been happening for many years.
