Versatile director Mani Ratnam is working on his dream project Ponniyan Selvan. It is known news already. A stellar cast and crew were roped in for this venture which is much awaited. It is going to be a Pan Indian project. However, before this project, Mani Ratnam will be releasing his other dream one, a web-series with the name Navarasa. This project will have 9 different scripts and 9 different actors will play the lead roles.
Mani Ratnam has been in talks with Amazon Prime for some time about this project. But the latest information is that Netflix came into the picture and bagged the deal. Navarasa is an interesting amalgamation of stories. These 9 different stories will be directed by 9 different directors with Mani Ratnam being the director for one project.
Gautham Menon, KV Anand, Bejoy Nambiar, Rathindran Prasad, Ponram will be directing the other episodes. Siddharth, Arvind Swamy will be directing one episode each and it is their directorial debut. More details to follow.
