Prasanth Neel Expresses Disappointment With Salaar

Prashanth Neel the director of Salaar shared his thoughts on the film’s performance. He admitted he was a bit disappointed with how it turned out in theaters and felt the writing wasn’t his best.

He mentioned, “Maybe I got a bit complacent after the huge success of my earlier work. Salaar didn’t meet my expectations, but I promise Salaar 2 will be one of my best works with the best-written script in my career”.

Prashanth Neel also revealed that he reworked his first Kannada film Ugramm to create Salaar. The film was released on December 22nd 2022.

Speaking on its first anniversary he shared that the script for Salaar 2 is already written but shooting will begin only after he completes his upcoming project with NTR.
