Yesterday, that is, on 18th of February, actress Bhavana was abducted and Molested by her own staff and the news came as a surprise to each and every one in the film fraternity. Even Telugu actors and actresses were surprised with the audacity of the criminals and wished that nobody had to go through such humiliation and heinous harassment ever in their life. Bhavana choose to find against the molesters and has launched a complaint with Kerala Police and they have been on the job since the time they received the complaint.
Now, the entire Malayalam film community has come together to support Bhavana in her fight and give her moral support during a tough time. This is a phase of her life where she might find it difficult to even trust her noted staff and resume working. This kind of support from fellow actors and colleagues would help to gain confidence again to fight them and held her head high once again.
Dulquer came out first to appreciate her courage and condemened the heinous act. He called upon on the young male actors to take an oath that they would look out to stop such atrocities in society and raise awareness about freedom in public. He said every women should be respected and such a talented actress should have been subjected to such humiliation. Now, even Superstar Mohan Lal issued a public statement condemning the act of the criminals and he called for strict laws against such criminals and said that his support will always with government in spreading awareness against such crimes.
