Superstar Mahesh Babu has been promoting Adivi Sesh’s upcoming film Major, based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who sacrificed his life for his country and its people during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. The film is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and is all set to be released on June 3rd, in all the South Indian languages and in Hindi as well, making it the first pan-Indian project for Sesh.
Speaking about the film, Mahesh, who is also the co-producer of the film, confirmed the various OTT deals that he received for the film during the pandemic lockdown. He said that these were huge OTT deals, but that he wanted the audience to watch the film only in theatres due to the subject matter of the film.
Sesh has also said the same in the past, saying that Major is a story that needs to be watched on the big screen, to truly be able to grasp the reality of the situation that happened on the dreaded day.
