Mahesh Babu’s 25th film, Maharshi has been officially postponed to 9th May from 25th April. Several Mahesh fans have been worried about the movie release just a day before Avengers: End Game and also before Elections. Now, they breathe a sigh of big relief.
Mahesh, Pooja Hedge, Allari Naresh starrer has Vamshi Padipally directing it and Dil Raju with Ashwini Dutt and PVP is producing the film. Dil Raju announced a press meet on 6th March to address the rumors of postponement.
Dl Raju at the press meet said, “We are extremely pleased to say that Maharshi is coming out well and Vamshi Paidipally is coming with best script of his career till date. He worked for two years and we are positive about the response the movie will get.
We are able to complete the shoot in-time but 25th April date, doesn’t give us ample time to complete post production and other works. Hence, we all sat together including Director, Mahesh Babu, Ashwini Dutt, PVP and me, to decide on the date. We finalised that the movie is strong and it needs to be given the time it demands too.
So, the decision to postponement has become unavoidable. After the exams and elections come to our film theatres in May and enjoy a beautiful tale on-screen.”
