Legendary lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry passes away

A couple of days back legendary lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry was admitted to KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad. Reportedly, due to severe illness, Sirivennela was admitted to the hospital and has been getting treatment in ICU.

This afternoon, news also came out that Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry’s health condition is critical. Now, the latest we hear is that the legendary singer passed away at 4 PM on Tuesday. Born in 1955 at Anakapalle in Andhra Pradesh, Sirivennela penned lyrics for more than 3000 Telugu songs. He was 66 years. Sirivennela is awarded Padma Sri by the Indian government for his contribution to Indian cinema.
