Karthi’s next film with director Tamizh, known for Taanakkaran, has officially been titled Marshal. The film began shooting on Thursday after a traditional pooja ceremony.
The announcement was made by Dream Warrior Pictures one of the film’s producers, on social media, saying, “With blessings and big dreams, Marshal begins!”
Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the female lead, while the cast also includes Sathyaraj, Prabhu, Lal, John Kokken, Easwari Rao and Murali Sharma in key roles. Karthi also shared the news with fans saying he’s starting a new journey with their love and support.
The film’s music will be composed by young talent Sai Abhyankkar, with cinematography by Sathyan Sooryan and editing by Philomin Raj.
Production design is by Arun Venjaramoodu. Marshal is produced by S. R. Prakash Babu and S. R. Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures and co-produced by Ishan Saksena.
Meanwhile Karthi has already completed work on the upcoming spy thriller Sardar 2.
