Karthi And SJ Suryah Set For An Intense Face-Off

Sardar 2 is set to hit the screens on September 10th 2026, with Karthi returning to the spy thriller.

Director PS Mithran says the sequel will explore not just action and espionage but also the emotional and psychological struggles of a spy.

Mithran revealed that the film expands the world of the first part and takes the story to an international level. He also praised Karthi’s dedication, as the actor plays both younger and older versions of his character.

This film will also feature Karthi and SJ Suryah in a face-off. Mithran said he wrote the villain first and felt SJ Suryah was perfect for the role without fail.

Rajisha Vijayan, Malavika Mohanan and Ashika Ranganath also have key roles. Sam CS is composing the music.
