Kamal Hassan confirms his retirement plans

For the first time, Kamal talked about retiring before the release of his movie, Vishwaroopam-2. He at the time said that his political entry means a full stop to his acting career. But then, he did say that he would like to think about it again, at a different meeting.

Now, the actor talked to press at Bangalore and said that his plans to retire as an actor are firm. He said, “Indian-2 will mark an end to my acting career and I hope it will find more audiences at the theatres than my recent films.”

Talking about the movie, “This is Shankar’s child and movie. He will talk about the political message he wants to give with the film and I will also try to tell my own personal political thoughts through the film. It will continue from where the first movie has ended!”

For his fans, it will be hard to digest that a man who became the legend of acting and been active for more than 50 years in the Industry is suddenly quitting the craft! But we all wish him best for Indian-2 and his future endeavors.
