Kalki 2898 AD: Prabhas as Bairava, its stunning look!

The upcoming big budget action fantasy movie “Kalki 2898 AD,” starring Rebel Star Prabhas, revealed its protagonist’s character name, Bairava, on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri. The poster showcases powerful Prabhas in a fierce avatar, adorned with attractive tattoo and never before futuristic glasses, set against the holy city of Kasi in the distant future.

Bairava symbolizes fearlessness and protection, echoing Prabhas’ role as a guardian in the teaser. Combining gratest ancient mythology with a futuristic dystopian backdrop, the film explores themes of new destiny, redemption, and the endless conflict between light and darkness. Currently, filming is taking place in Italy under the direction of Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.

“Kalki 2898 AD” is expected to be the most expensive Indian film with a global release. Along with Prabhas, the star-studded cast includes Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.
