So I would fill the water at 4 a.m. We had a maid, of course, when I became pregnant. Two air conditioners were present in my parents’ house. Javed felt sorry for me since we lacked one. He purchased a used air conditioner. We called our neighbours because we were so happy. And just as they were coming together, the AC failed. I was furious. After that, we would spread a chaddar, sprinkle water on the floor, and sleep.
However, after Amitabh Bachchan’s film “Zanjeer” became a huge hit and Javed gained notoriety in the industry, things changed for the pair within a year. When asked about this, Honey replied, “I guess I was lucky for him. After Zanjeer, we didn’t turn around again. After purchasing this cottage, we purchased a condo at Bandstand. Mashallah! Every night we partied. There would frequently be Amitji and Jaya (Bachchan), Yashji and Pam (Chopra), and Yashji and Hiroo (Johar) there. Amitji used to drink back then. We’d party all night long and then leave to pick him up at 5 am for his shoot.
