Jana Gana Mana from Major: The perfect tribute

A new song from Adivi Sesh’s upcoming film Major has been released today. Titled Jana Gana Mana, the song is sung by Tojan Toby and Sricharan Pakala, with Rajiv Bharadwaj having penned the lyrics, and Sricharan Pakala composing the music for the film.

The song shows us the journey of Sandeep Unnikrishnan from an aspiring soldier to someone who commanded a troop of officers on the fateful day of the Mumbai attacks on 26/11. We also get to see the struggle that he goes through while training to be an Army Major, glimpses of his parents and love, and what they mean to him during his crucial moments.

Major has been receiving amazing reviews, based on the premiere shows. The film is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who sacrificed his life for the nation. Major is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and is all set to be released tomorrow, June 3rd, in all major Indian languages.
