A.R. Murugadoss reacted to the South Indian Writers Association decision that he colors Sarkar script from a young director, Varun’s script. He talked to media and said that the people without knowing the reality are assuming things.
He said, “I never met Varun in my life. I don’t know his complete script. I got to know that he wrote his script in 2007 after he came forward with allegations.
My film story happens in 2018 and I wrote it to resemble today’s political situation. I even showed Jayalalitha’s death in the film. This is not a film that can be written 10 or 15 years before.
I am making a film that is truthful to today’s situation. The only similarity is that the movie will have the same line as the writer’s script, a vote of another person being already cast without him knowing about it. I almost got a heart attack with the decision and allegations. The truth will be out soon,” he concluded. Sarkar is releasing on 7th November for Diwali.
