Ajay Devgn will return as Vijay in Drishyam 3 which begins filming on October 2, 2025, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti, a date that has become symbolic for the franchise.
Directed by Abhishek Pathak and produced by Kumar Mangat and Pathak himself the film is set to release exactly one year later, on October 2, 2026.
The movie will be shot over three months at real locations in Maharashtra along with studio sets. Ajay Devgn has already locked his dates and the entire Drishyam cast will reunite for this final chapter in Vijay’s gripping story.
Currently it’s unclear whether the plot will follow the Malayalam version or feature an original script. A final decision is expected by July 2025.
Fans can look forward to another intense thriller packed with suspense, twists and Ajay’s powerful performance at the center.
