I feared talking to Kalyanram – Guhan

KV Guhan talked about his directorial debut in Telugu, 118. The movie got decent reviews and used Mahasivaratri weekend to show a better performance at the theaters.

Guhan said, “I went to Naa Nuvve sets to talk to PC Sriram, my guru. I met Kalyanram there and told him the story. He got excited and we started talking about the possibility of the movie.

He did not answer for 2 hours after I narrated it to him. But when he said, Yes, I got relieved. I was trying to become a director from past two decades but cinematography assignments kept me busy.

I feared to tell Kalyan story but when he understood the complexity and got intrigued, all my fears vanished. I am happy with the response and hope to make movies in all genres, further!”
