Pooja Bedi revealed about her bringing up in an unconditional environment and was termed backward for not doing drugs.

Pooja Bedi gained national attention after she was seen in a controversial advertisement about Con*oms in the 90s era. Though the advertisement was banned, it got her the Bollywood break. She is always seen talking about being a rebel child and growing up in a different environment.

The actress is always known for her unconventional choices and talked about how she grew up in a different manner where she never had restrictions back home and wearing skimpy clothes was cool.

In an interaction the actress revealed that she was termed as a Backward Child for choosing to be a Non-alcoholic and away from drugs. She said, “I never smoked, did not touch drugs like a hippie child, gave up meat for a long time, and didn’t touch alcohol till late in life. My parents would ask me, ‘What’s wrong with you? You are such a backward child.’ They would laugh at me for being tame. I had a very unconventional upbringing.”

She also opened up about not having any deadlines and restrictions at home even about her dressing choices. She also told her place was the party zone for all her friends.

It is to be noted that she is the daughter of Veteran Actor Kabir Bedi. Although she has done limited movies in her career, her fashion style has always been the talk of the town. For the unversed, her daughter Alaya F is now a part of the Bollywood Industry.
