Dhanush’s Rowdy Baby hits 1 Billion views

Dhanush’s Maari 2 was disappointing for the audiences but the film’s one of the songs Rowdy Baby was quite a sensation. Right from the song’s release it has connected instantly and went on to become a rage in no time. The song has now hit 1 Billion views which makes the first South Indian song to achieve this feat.

Dhanush has taken to Twitter to celebrate this occasion. He has tweeted, “What a sweet coincidence this is. Rowdy baby hits 1 billion views on the same day of the 9th anniversary of Kolaveri di. We are honored that this is the first South Indian song to reach 1 billion views. Our whole team thanks you from the heart.”

It was Sai Pallavi’s swift dance moves that became one of the prime reasons to make it a sensation. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s musical and Prabhu Deva’s choreography has added extra flavor to the song. The song’s Telugu version is a big hit as well.
