Devara is an important project for both Jr NTR and director Siva Koratala. The first part of this two-part series was set to release in theaters on October 10, 2024. However, the team behind Devara is now considering a new release date. This change is because Superstar Rajinikanth’s new movie, Vettaiyan, directed by T J Gnanavel, is also coming out on the same day.
Devara, with its wide appeal and release in Tamil, might struggle against Rajinikanth’s star power. There are rumors that Devara could be moved to September 27, 2024, but this date conflicts with Dulquer Salmaan’s film Lucky Baskhar. Although Lucky Baskhar may not be a big threat in Telugu-speaking areas, Jr NTR’s fans want a date without any clashes for a smooth release.
Fans are waiting eagerly for the final decision on Devara’s release. The movie, produced by NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, stars Janhvi Kapoor opposite Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan as the villain. Keep an eye out for updates on Devara’s release date.
