NTR and Koratala Siva’s second film, “Devara,” is scheduled to release in theaters on September 27th. Set on the remote coastal islands of India, the film has been made on a massive budget.
International pre-sales are going well, and the theatrical trailer was released in Mumbai on 10th September and was well received by the audience and this film is the solo release for NTR after 6 years.
The movie has received a U/A certificate from the censor board, although some had expected an A certificate due to the intense violence shown in the promos.
The film’s runtime is approved for 2 hours and 58 minutes, which is quite long. Koratala Siva will need to create a compelling screenplay to keep the audience engaged.
Recent big films have faced criticism for dragging on due to their lengthy duration, so it will be interesting to see how Devara fares.
