Spoorthi Jithender, from Ramakrishnapuram in Telangana, loved making songs and writing lyrics since she was little, even singing for a TV show at age three. Her singing journey started early, and by eleven, she sang in her first movie, “Yamaho Yama.”
She sang in many Telugu films like “Loafer,” “Ism,” and “Kick 2,” where her song “Kukkurukuru” got attention. Spoorthi wrote and sang the female version of the Telugu song “Pillaa Raa” from the movie “RX 100.” Her folk song “Dan Dana Dan” became a hit, and she sang over eighty more folk songs.
Aside from music, she studied at Trinity College London. Currently, she’s doing a Bachelor of Science through distance education at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi. During the lockdown, she taught music to twenty-five children. Spoorthi also writes and raps English songs, sharing them on her YouTube channel.
