Mahesh Babu and Trivikram‘s upcoming film, “Guntur Kaaram,” is generating immense anticipation as its release date draws near. The buzz surrounding the movie’s release has already begun, particularly with the Nizam distributor, Dil Raju, orchestrating an extensive plan for its launch in single-screen theaters.
Dil Raju aims to ensure that “Guntur Kaaram” hits a maximum number of theaters on its opening day. About 90 single screens are slated to exclusively showcase the film, with a few screens shared among other releases like “Hanuman” and “Merry Christmas.”
Reportedly, after the massive “RRR,” “Guntur Kaaram” is the only movie to secure such a substantial number of theaters. The strategy is geared towards maximizing collections from the opening day, considering other major releases around the 13th and 14th of January.
This approach of targeting single screens is not limited to one area; it’s planned to be implemented throughout Telangana. Furthermore, efforts are underway to secure permission for early morning 4 am screenings and align ticket prices with those of “Salaar.” Due to price restrictions in Andhra Pradesh, most collections are expected to come from Telangana.
